BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has called upon students to enhance their knowledge and skills in science and technology. He made this appeal while virtually joining a program organized in Kishoreganj on Saturday (October 25), which was attended by school and madrasa students. Tarique Rahman said, “Dear students from schools and madrasas across the country, remember — all religions emphasize the importance of education and learning. The very first verse of the Holy Qur’an begins with ‘Iqra bismi rabbika allathee khalaq’ — ‘Read in the name of your Lord who created.’ As your friend and brother, my one and only advice to you is: study, study, and study.” He continued, “My beloved young friends, the world has now entered the era of Artificial Intelligence. Opportunities across the globe are now open for the talented. Competition exists in every sphere — knowledge, science, and intellect. Whether you study in a school or a madrasa, to survive with dignity in this competitive world, you must become properly educated, knowledgeable in science, and skilled in practical and technical education.” The BNP Acting Chairman further said, “In this age of modern knowledge, science, and innovative technology, there is no alternative to dedication and determination to make yourself more competent than others. Always remember — talent may be innate, but its development requires proper nurturing.” He added, “My dear young friends, the development of a nation depends on quality education and an effective education system. Keeping that vision in mind, BNP has already announced a 31-point reform plan. For this purpose, we have formed a team of experts who are making significant progress in their work.”
